Thibodeaux is arrested for theft of outboard motor

On July 18, 2025 Deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence off Lanse Bleu Rd. for a theft of an outboard boat motor.

The Sixth Annual Cajun Paws for a Cause pageant was held at the Celestine Center in Mamou on Saturday, July 18. All proceeds from the pageant are shared by the Mamou animal holding facility and Heroes Everywhere Animal Rescue, a local animal rescue organization located in Evangeline Parish.
