Two individuals, identified as Christopher Tezeno and Anthony Tezeno, have escaped from the Ville Platte City Jail and are being sought by police officers, according to Chief Al Perry Thomas.
Ville Platte Chief of Police Al Perry Thomas has confirmed a young Black male was shot at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Friday, May 12, near the intersection of Coreil Street and Magnolia Street.
