Rita Joy Fontenot Soileau, native of Ville Platte and resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 84.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
