City’s water system receives an “A” grade

By: TONY MARKS Editor VILLE PLATTE - The City of Ville Platte received an “A” grade for its water system. Mayor Ryan LeDay Williams made the announcement during the city council meeting held Wednesday, November 12. The grade was given by the Louisiana Department of Health for the year 2024.

Veterans Day was observed with several events in the parish on Tuesday, November 11. (Left photo) The annual ceremony was held at the courthouse in Ville Platte. During the ceremony, Ville Platte Mayor Ryan LeDay Williams presented proclamations to the oldest and youngest veterans.
