The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

By: TONY MARKS Editor During its meeting held Wednesday, May 17, the Evangeline Parish School Board recognized the district’s students who received their dual enrollment associate degrees. Hanna Claire Manuel, the daughter of Sean and Rachel Manuel, of Basile High School, earned a GPA of 4.

Leak protection insurance is offered in Turkey Creek

Acadia Parish- The Eunice Police Department requested Troopers to investigate an officer-involved shooting on James Place near Perchville Road in Acadia Parish. One subject was shot and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No officers were injured during the incident.
