School schedule clears first hurdle

By: TONY MARKS Editor Upon motion of Bobby Hamlin, the executive committee the Evangeline Parish School Board, on Tuesday, June 13, voted 3-1 to begin the school year on a five-day schedule for the first nine-week period. After that time, the schedule would revert to a four-day week.
