Arrest is made in murder of Ardoin

Chief A. Perry Thomas reports that an arrest has been made in the shooting death of 31-year-old Cawaskee Ardoin which occurred at the Gabriel Villa Apartment Complex on the evening of April 2, 2025. Tijuan Sims, 24, turned himself into Chief Thomas on April 7.

Myers has convictions, sentences affirmed

By: TONY MARKS Editor The Third Circuit Court of Appeal has affirmed the convictions and sentences of Sidney Myers, who was convicted of three counts of indecent behavior with juveniles. He was found not guilty of sexual battery.
