The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Joshua Brent Fontenot, 37, Ville Platte, was arrested March 27, 2025, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery - strangulation. Fontenot remains incarcerated on no bond.
