Ville Platte Rotary: Gil shares information on fortified roofs

By: HEATHER BOGARD Associate Editor Rotarian Eric Gil, during the Tuesday, April 15, meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club, addressed his fellow members about fortified roofs.
Pictured above is the “paradise display” from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries that highlights public areas and facilities the department manages as well as local threatened and endangered animals. This informative display consists of maps, pictures, educational pamphlets, a full mounted black bear, and items related to black bears such as a tracking collar, paw print, and replica skull. The display which houses the pictures and maps is approximately 6 feet tall and 10 feet wide.
