VILLE PLATTE – A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Ivy Fontenot Ortego at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
