The Ville Platte Police Department reported the following recent arrests. Arrested were the following persons:
• Claudia Thomas, 1802 Kembo St., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 27, 2021, for battery on a dating partner. Thomas was released on a $1,000.00 bond.
• John Gallow, 34, 615 E. Jefferson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 27, 2021, for disturbing the peace by intoxication. Gallow was released on a $200.00 bond.
• Megan Cummings, 25, 208 Johnny St., Ville Platte, was arrested on February 27, 2021, for theft. Cummings was released on a $500.00.
