The local Knights of Columbus, for the second consecutive year, is sponsoring a Fish Fry on the first five Fridays of Lent. The remaining days are February 26, March 5, March 12, and March 19.
The plates can be picked up between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the KC Hall located south of Ville Platte on the Chataignier Road. Plates are $8 and include fried fish, hush puppies, cole slaw, french fries, and the original “The Jungle” tartar sauce, and all purchases are cash on site.
Proceeds will be donated to local church parishes for various retreats as well as the New Life Pregnancy Center in Mamou for an ultrasound machine.
