Another round of strong weather passed through the area on Wednesday, July 1, causing several trees to fall. One tree, in Ville Platte, according to reports, fell on a power line causing a power outage across areas of the city. In the Village of Chataignier, half an inch of rain fell with heavy winds and fallen trees.
