The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jerod Young, 39, Basile, was arrested on February 28, 2021, by the Basile Police Department for possession of CDS Schedule I, domestic abuse battery, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Young remains incarcerated on a $2,000.00 bond.
• Michael DeWayne Fontenot, 31, Eunice, was arrested on March 1, 2021, by the Basile Police Department for simple burglary, theft, and theft of a firearm. Fontenot was released on a $50,000.00 bond.
• Macaully Hunt, 28, Opelousas, was arrested on March 1, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of failure to appear for court. Hunt was released on a $3,500.00 bond.
• Whitney Daisjanaira Jack, 26, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 3, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule I, manufacture/distribution of CDS IV, possession of CDS I with intent to distribute, possession of CDS Schedule IV, manufacture/distribution of CDS II, and possession of CDS Schedule II. Jack was released on a $40,000.00 bond.
• Ladarrius Christian Williams, 29, Mamou, was arrested on March 3, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS I with intent to distribute, possession of CDS IV with intent to distribute, possession of CDS I with intent to distribute, possession of CDS IV with intent to distribute, possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, and possession of CDS Schedule II. Williams remains incarcerated on a $40,000.00 bond.
• Snowey B. Jason, 43, Mamou, was arrested on March 3, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, possession of CDS Schedule III, possession of CDS Schedule II, possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, and possession of CDS Schedule IV. Jason was released on a $44,500.00 bond.
• Damian Keith Duplechain, 39, Mamou, was arrested on March 3, 2021, by the Mamou Police Department for possession of CDS Schedule II, possession of CDS Schedule I, and violation of uniform CDS law in a drug free zone. Duplechain was released on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Monica K. Lazard, 42, Mamou, was arrested on March 2, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule I and two counts of possession of CDS Schedule IV. Lazard was released on a $23,500.00 bond.
• Kyla Danielle Guillot, 26, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 2, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft and simple criminal damage to property. Guillot was released on no bond.
• Odey J. Holcomb, 37, Basile, was arrested on March 3, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule II, theft, and criminal trespass. Holcomb was released on a $9,000.00 bond.
• Garret J. Falcon, 34, Scott, was arrested on March 5, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and simple burglary. Falcon was released on a $37,500.00 bond.
• Dylan Scott Reed, 26, was arrested on March 4, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for failure to appear for court, theft, possession of CDS Schedule I, and simple assault. Reed was released on a $9,250.00 bond.
• Anthony Dwight Griffith, 44, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for issuing worthless checks $300 to $500 and forgery. Griffith remains incarcerated on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Paula Fontenot, 53, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 6, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misrepresentation during booking. Fontenot was released on a $10,750.00 bond.
• Samijo Muria Lejeune, 36, Basile, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lejeune was released on no bond.
• Joseph Sam Lejeune, 36, Basile, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lejeune remains incarcerated on a $6,500.00 bond.
• Ronald Brock, 26, Eunice, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft of utility service. Brock was released on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Danielle Nicole Courville, 35, Eunice, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of CDS Schedule I. Courville was released on a $20,000.00 bond.
• Albert Joseph Joubert, 39, Basile, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule I, manufacture/distribution of CDS II, manufacture/distribution of CDS I, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Joubert remains incarcerated on a $20,000.00 bond.
• Texster Wayne Ritter, 41, Mamou, was arrested on March 7, 2021, by the Mamou Police Department for Schedule II - prohibited acts, violation of uniform CDS law in a drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal use of CDS in presence of minor. Ritter remains incarcerated on a $11,250.00 bond.
