  • THE OLD MCCLELLAND FARM - This aerial shot of the McClelland Farm in rural Evangeline Parish was taken approximately 50 years ago. The home pictured was the second on site and was sold and moved into the town of Basile years ago. All of the outlying buildings shown have been demolished and replaced, but the oak trees shown (planted in 1922) still stand.
