Clarity is given regarding funds

During the May 11 meeting of the Ville Platte City Council, City Marshal Nicole Snoddy informed the council her office had not received the $15,000 operating budget the office usually receives every year in August. Snoddy was not the Marshal last year, but as the new Marshal, she was at the meeting to formally ask the council for the upcoming funds for 2021.
