PPHS girls create second winning streak

By: TONY MARKS Editor For the second time this season, the Pine Prairie girls’ basketball team is riding a two-game winning streak after back-to-back victories against David Thibodaux and St. Joseph’s - Plaucheville. The win against St. Joe’s was a 41-36 affair at home on Tuesday.

Dartez, outstanding offensive player of Class 1A, has Ville Platte roots

Players are named to football All-District teams

By: TONY MARKS Editor Four Trojans from Sacred Heart were selected as first-team representatives on the District 6-1A Football All-District team. Senior running back Jude Hebert was a workhorse for the Trojans as he carried the ball 179 times for 1,242 yards and 18 touchdowns.
