An officer with the Ville Platte Police Department was arrested as a result of an arrest warrant secured by Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation.

VILLE PLATTE - On July 30, shortly after 11 a.m., troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash involving commercial motor vehicles on Interstate 49 just south of its intersection with Louisiana Highway 29.
