McNeese on rise in Goff’s second season

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor When McNeese head coach Gary Goff took the job in December 2021, no one surrounding the program was expecting a meteoric rise following the aftermath of Hurricane Laura. And it wasn’t. McNeese struggled most of last season and finished with a 4-7 overall record.
