The Ville Platte Police Department reported the following recent arrests. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jessie Vories, 48, 813 N. Coreil St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 6, 2021, for domestic abuse battery and two counts of resisting an officer. Vories was released on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Patrick Fontenot, 30, 1531 Martin Luther King Dr., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 10, 2021, for simple battery and disturbing the peace. Fontenot was released on a $600.00 bond.
• Kenneth Antoine, 54, 818 Owen St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 13, 2021, for possession of drug paraphernalia and remaining after being forbidden. Antoine remains incarcerated on a $3,000.00.
