Landry opens 2025 legislative session

By: ELLA RAY, QUINN MARCEAUX AND GRACE THOMPSON LSU Manship School News Service BATON ROUGE--Gov. Jeff Landry opened the 2025 legislative session with a warning: When it comes to fixing Louisiana’s insurance crisis, personal injury lawyers and insurance companies are in for a reckoning.
The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Construction Management (SOCM) held its spring awards luncheon with alumni awards given to deserving candidates, including, from left, Robert “Popie” Billeaud and Stuart Billeaud, Constructor of the Year award; Jane Shurley, Female Alumna of the Year; Andrew Barber, Under-40 Alumnus of the Year; Keith Roberts, Distinguished Alumnus of the Year and Donovan Stewart, Minority Alumnus of the Year.

MONROE - The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Construction Management (SOCM) held its spring awards luncheon on March 21, 2025. The event was organized by the SOCM Industry Advisory Council (IAC).

Wall returning: American Veterans Traveling Tribute to arrive in November

By: CARISSA HEBERT LSN Editor Allen Parish will welcome the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) from November 3, to November 7. The memorial wall is a tribute to those who died in the Vietnam War. Organizers had their first meeting this week and are looking for volunteers.
