PINE PRAIRIE -- With the roll the Pine Prairie girls have been on lately, it’s no surprise that they pulled out the District 5-3A championship with a 6-0 win over Church Point on Monday evening.

The baseball edition of the Tee Cotton Bowl rivalry between Sacred Heart and Ville Platte took place last Saturday, with the Trojans handily defeating Ville Platte 12-0 in five innings.
