Lady Bullogs overcome 17-point deficit for key district win

By: TONY MARKS Editor Ever since a home overtime 56-53 loss against LaGrange, the Ville Platte girls’ basketball team are winners of six in a row. Among those wins are four wins in district play, which puts the Lady Bulldogs atop the standings in District 4-3A.

McNeese men maintain lead in SLC standings

By: RAYMOND PARTSCH III LSN Sports Reporter LAKE CHARLES -- The McNeese men's basketball team continues its push to a second-straight Southland Conference title. With Monday's 67-51 win over East Texas A&M, McNeese improved to 19-6 overall and 13-1 in the SLC.
