The Basile Bearcats will complete the 2017 regular season tonight (Thursday) as they host the Hamilton Christian Warriors for the annual BHS Senior Night.
The game was scheduled for Thursday to allow the team and all of the spirit groups and band to be able to enjoy the annual Swine Festival festivitites here in Basile beginning Friday.
Currently sporting a 6-3 overall record and enjoying a five game winning streak, the Bearcats are currently number 7 in the Class 1A Non-select power rankings, according to LouisianaSportsline. com. Basile is behind #1 West St. John, #2 Varnado, #3 Oak Grove, #4 Logansport, #5 Kentwood, and #6 Haynesville.
