Ville Platte all-star softball teams win section tournaments
The Ville Platte 10U Softball All-Stars won the central regional section tournament. Players are Allie Rae Johnson, Aubrey Briley, Audrey Mire, Ella Veillon, Ellie Soileau, Kali Herbert, Keely Johnson, Madelyn Fontenot, Madison Ardoin, Maryellen Hebert, Olivia Delafosse, and Samiyah Thomas.
The Ville Platte Elite 8U Softball All-Stars also won the central regional section tournament. Ville Platte was well represented at the PONY Sectional Tournament in Kaplan as three teams emerged as section champions. A fourth team from the city, for good measure, finished the tournament as runner-up.
