WELSH - Basile head coach Kevin Bertrand knew that his team’s opponent last Friday, the No. 8-seeded Welsh Greyhounds, would present his Bearcats a difficult challenge in the opening round of the Division IV non-select playoffs.
After all, the Class 2A opponent presented a fast team that would give most teams in their division fits.
The Greyhounds did just that...
