How It Happened

The Bulldogs stormed out of the gate to win their second-consecutive district game and its homecoming contest. A big night on the ground by Montagon Dixon and a big effort from the Ville Platte defense that included six sacks, three interceptions and a fumble return touchdown by Traelyn Doucet separated the Bulldogs.

They Said …

"We spent a lot of time (on defense) this week. I thought it would be a big key for helping us tonight and if we shut down their offense we could have a real successful game tonight.” – Chris Mitchell, Ville Platte
