How It Happened
Marksville moved to an unorthodox running offense mid-game, with the result being that the Tigers gashed the Trojans for 350 yards on the ground. It took its toll on the battered Trojans in the third quarter, when Marksville scored two touchdowns to take control of the contest.

They Said …
"Our guys played hard. Credit to (Marksville), we were just kind of outmanned. It is what it is. But at the end of the day, our kids fought hard. We had opportunities. We got it inside the five twice in the first half and didn't punch it in. The opportunities were there for us to separate ourselves but we didn't execute." -- Jacob Aguillard, Sacred Heart
