Track and field athletes from Sacred Heart and Basile competed in the LHSAA Class 1A Region 2 Meet at Basile on Wednesday, April 30. Several of the participants claimed a spot in the state meet, which will be held this week at LSU. Among those going to state are Sacred Heart’s Jackson Soileau, William Jorden, Wesley Ortego, and Seth Guillory.
