Change is hard.
Changing venues in the middle of a quarterfinal playoff game because of rain and lightning is harder, especially when the venue is changed to a location in a neighboring parish.
That was what the Pine Prairie softball team was facing last Friday as it hosted South Beauregard with a chance to make it to the state tournament on the line.
