A baseball career that began at the age of four while playing Dixie Youth T-Ball is continuing 14 years later as Briggs Ardoin, of Sacred Heart, has signed to play at the next level at Baton Rouge Community College.
Ardoin, the son of Karen and Jimmy Ardoin, collected a record of 19-5 this year and, in his Trojan career, has clocked a top speed of 88 miles per hour.
