The annual 4-H Cotton Pickin’ Pet Show, Pumpkin Decorating Contest, and Cotton Festival Cookery Contest officially kicked off the 70th Louisiana Cotton Festival on Monday, October 7, at the Ville Platte Civic Center. In the left photo is Evelyn Johnson and her dog who won first place for Medium/Large Dog Best Costumed Pair.
