JOHNNETTE NEUCERE FOREMAN

Johnnette Neucere Foreman, affectionately known as “Maw Maw Johnnette,” passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:47 a.m. at Opelousas General Hospital, at the age of 82.

Thomas Vidrine, Jr. a resident of Bayou Chicot passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the age of 73. A visitation to celebrate his life was held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte.

AMANDA JOHNSON THIBODEAUX

Amanda Johnson Tibodeaux died on May 21, 2025. She was 96 years old and a resident of Kenner. Amanda donated her body to science. Her remains will be returned to the family by the LSU Medical Center. There will be a private graveside service at the Addison-Johnson Cemetery.

Maffie Ann Guillory Landreneau, a lady who lived life to its fullest, peacefully departed this world on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her home in Ville Platte. She was born on Thursday, December 25, 1947, in L’Anse Grise and dedicated her life to her family, her profession, and her passions.

MAMOU - Ricky Ray Nacquin, a cherished father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the age of 63. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou at 3 p.m. Burial followed at Reed Cemetery.
