Cedric Simon LaFleur, 94, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully at his home on January 8, 2026. Visitation was held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home from 6 pm until 9 pm.

VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Earl Matthews Fontenot, age 76, were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Father Mitch Guidry officiated the Funeral Mass.
