Funeral services for Tina Grace Hazelton were held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, in the Lake Cove Baptist Church with the Reverends Ervin Goodman and Harlan Hazelton officiating. Committal service followed in Turkey Creek Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Tina, 56, of Lake Cove, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in her residence. She was born on May 21, 1961 in Alexandria to the union of Joe Suba, Jr. and Doris Dean Brown. She was a Baptist by Faith, and a homemaker. Tina was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 38 years, Irby Hazelton of Lake Cove; father and mother, Joe and Doris Brown Suba of Pineville; one son, Irby Nathaniel Hazelton, of Turkey Creek; two daughters, Heather Hazelton Jones (Chris) of Alexandria, and Candice Hazelton King (David) of Lake Cove; one brother, Scott Suba (Debbie) of Pineville; three sisters, Diane Suba Baudoin (Raymond) of Pineville, Bonnie Suba Hazelton (Rod), and Sherry Suba King (Mack), all of Lake Cove; mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Hazelton of Lake Cove; five grandchildren, Regan Nicole Hazelton, Dalton Nathaniel Hazelton, Irby Seth Hazelton, Zachary Nate Hazelton, and Klara Brianne Hazelton; and along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Hazelton, Chris Suba, Heath Hazelton, Jordan Vidrine, Triston Vidrine, Nick Blood, Skyler Blood, Terrell Guillory, Josh Guillory, and Jared Mire. Honorary pallbearers were Justin Suba and Dakota King.
