VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Friday, July 6, 2018, for Shelia Ann Vidrine, 59, who passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Baton Rouge.
Father Ben Pitre conducted the funeral services.
Shelia Ann Vidrine was born in Ville Platte, on April 4, 1959 to Haddway and Paulene Douget Israel. Shelia loved to fish with her husband Paul, and yes; she caught more fish on her old cane pole than her husband. Every year she would plant a great garden that was full of flowers and vegetables. Her family was her pride and joy. She absolutely adored her beautiful grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Paul Vidrine; son, Jason P. Vidrine; daughter, Angela R. Vidrine; brothers, Kary Israel, John Toby Israel, and Lawrence Israel; and three precious grandchildren, Jacob, Jayden, and Gabrielle Vidrine.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Haddway and Paulene Douget Israel; brother, Charles “Tiny” Israel; and sister, Doris Jane Israel.
The family requested that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
