VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Ms. Runie Roberie Thibodeaux, 81, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, burial followed, in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation began Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 3 p.m.-9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7:15 p.m., and resumed again Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 8 a.m.
Ms. Runie, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette.
She will be deeply missed by her loving family; daughters Liz Lafleur and husband, Sammy, and Missie Morein and fiance, Jereme’ Ardoin all of Ville Platte; sisters Geneva Brignac of Schriever, and Lou Ellen Pitre of Opelousas; and grandchildren Robby Lafleur and fiance’, Attie Stelly, Layton Lafleur, Andy Lafleur, and Ciera Morein.
She is preceded in death by her parents Mayo and Hester Fontenot Roberie; husband, Dewey Thibodeaux; son, Donnie Thibodeaux, and brothers Landris “Bud” Roberie, Ray Roberie, and Donald Roberie.
