PEARL F. SOILEAU

Mamou – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2:30 p.m on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 for Mrs. Pearl F. Soileau at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial followed at the New St. Ann’s Mausoleum.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou from 9:00 a.m until time of service on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. A rosary was recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Mrs. Pearl, age 87 and a resident of Ville Platte passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Savoy Medical Center.
Pearl loved to sew, paint, crochet, and she liked making puzzles but most of all loved to bake for her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Pearl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, of 71 years, Winston Soileau of Ville Platte; two sons, Glen Soileau and wife, Penny, and Gary Soileau and wife, Susan; and one daughter Pamela S. Manuel and husband, Benny all of Ville Platte; five grandchildren, Adrienne Soileau Wolf, Michael Gary Soileau, Chuck Soileau, Casey Soileau Gary and Jake Manuel and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bertimie Fuselier and Edna Duplechain and one grandchild, Morgan Soileau.
The family has entrusted Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou with arrangements.
