Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte, for Mrs. Ella Mae Deshotel, 84, who entered eternal rest, Friday, April 27, 2018 at her residence in Ville Platte.
Interment will be in Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Point Blue on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
Rev. Darwan T. Lazard will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Deshotel is survived by her two daughters, Elaine Louise Mose of Ville Platte, and Edith Celene Deshotel of Carencro; two sons, Lawrence Anthony Deshotel of Oak Park, CA and Chad McNeil Deshotel of Carencro; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Deshotel of Oak Park, CA; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Mrs. Deshotel was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Deshotel; parents, Alcide Jack and Louisa Martin Zachary; brothers, Wilfred and Calton Mose; son-in-law, Roger Mose; two great grandchildren, Jaiden Mose and Natayla Mose.
Visiting hours will be observed from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte.
