Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Word of Faith Full Gospel Church in Mamou, for Mr. Woodrow Wilson, 66, who entered eternal rest, Friday, May 18, 2018 at his residence in Mamou.
Interment was in St. John Memorial Garden in Ville Platte.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Laura Wilson of Mamou; a daughter, Latrice Wilson of Lafayette; three sons, Terry Wilson, Kenny Ray Wilson (Geina) and Brian Wilson, all of Mamou; six sisters, Lou Ester O’Neal (Robert), Mary Wilson, Patricia Jack (Donald), Linda Thomas, Joylee Malbrew (Eldrick) and Shonda Brown; four brothers, Milton Wilson, Roylton Wilson (Terease), Lee Godfrey Wilson and Carlton Wilson; 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow & Edna Wilson; a daughter, Michelle Yvette Wilson; a brother, Walter Wilson and a sister, Elvina Young Dick.
Visiting hours were observed from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Word of Faith Full Gospel Church.
