Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lawtell, for Mr. James Lavergne, Jr., 39, who entered eternal rest, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Interment will be in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Mallet. Rev. Borgia Aubespin, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.
Mr. Lavergne is survived by his mother, Genevieve Lavergne of Ville Platte; his companion, Jennifer Perry of Lake Charles; four sons, Jaylen M. Lavergne, and Jerell D. Lavergne both of Carencro, Jaquan J. Lavergne and Jonas Lavergne both of Lake Charles ; his step-son, Josiah M. Perry of Lake Charles; a daughter, Jonah M. Lavergne of Lake Charles; a sister, Angelina Lavergne of Ville Platte; two Godchildren, Alyssa Espree of Opelousas, and Eric Carrier of Church Point, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Mr. Lavergne was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lester & Felicia Guillory and paternal grandparents, Clement & Leona Lavergne.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
