VILLE PLATTE-Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Ville Platte, for Mr. Darryl Watts, Sr., 64, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Rev. Freddie Jack, Pastor of St. John Baptist Church will officiate the Celebration of Life.
Mr. Davis leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his legacy, former spouse, Rita Davis; son, Darryl Watts Davis, Jr ;daughters, Yolanda Davis and Jacquelynn Hamilton; brother, Raywood Edwards; sisters, Byrolyn Davis (Carter) MD, Cheryl Davis, Lena Davis, Stephanie Lilly, and Charrise Texada; grandchildren, Carmeron Sanders, Madison Hamilton, Cortney Sanders, London Hamilton, Greyson Hamilton and Kai Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents Norwood Davis and Bertha Jo Davis.
The family request visiting hours be observed on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church in Ville Platte.
Final arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ville Platte.
