VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Ms. Lee Amma Vidrine Fontenot, 88, were held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017, at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Glodd officiated.
Ms. Fontenot a resident of Ville Platte passed away Friday December 15, 2017 at her residence.
She will be missed by her loving family, sons Blaine Fontenot of Baton Rouge, Kerwin Fontenot and wife Connie of Lafayette, Daniel Fontenot and wife Sarah of Baton Rouge, Neil Fontenot and wife Kim of Lafayette; daughters Sonia Ardoin and husband Donald of VIlle Platte, Janet Landreneau and husband Michael of Ville Platte, Susan LaHaye of Ville Platte; brother Rabel Vidrine and of Metairie; sisters Allie V. Goodson of Dallas, Helen Doucet of Alvardo, TX; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Ida Brunet Vidrine, husband Roger Fontenot, brother Thilman Vidrine, and grandson Kyle Ardoin.
Visitation was held Sunday, December 18, 2017, from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. and resumed again Monday, December 18, 2017 at 8:00 a.m.
