VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Hubert “Jimmy” Saucier, 75, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel with burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Fr. Glodd officiated the services.
Mr. Saucier a resident of Ville Platte passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his sons Daniel Saucier of Leesville, and Steven Saucier of Anacoco; daughters Tammy Kittenger of Killeen, TX; Karen Butler of Louisville, and Marsha O’Neal of Houston, TX; brothers Ronald Saucier of Alexandria, and John Saucier of Chataignier; and nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Avie and Armance Lafleur Saucier, and brother Rollins Saucier.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 3p.m.-9 p.m., with a rosary that was recited at 6:30 p.m., and resumed again Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 8 a.m.
