VILLE PLATTE - Memorial services for Mr. Joseph Edward Dangler Jr., 82, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dangler, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He will be missed by his sisters Etta Vannoy, Nora Shepherd, Betsy Adams, Ruby Doucet, Gail Riviera, Pearl Squires, and Ruth Ann Lafleur; stepson Michael Lafleur of Ville Platte; companion Dean Cormier of Ville Platte. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Veillon Dangler, parents, brothers Rufus Nelands, Wayne Bihm, David Lafleur, sisters Barbara Deshotels, Nancy Grasshoff Visitation began at 9 a.m. November 4, 2017 until the time of services. LaVille Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
