MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial today, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou, for Joann Myers, 80, who passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018.
Father Billy Massie, pastor of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in the Ortego Cemetery.
Joann is survived by her son Johnny Myers and wife, Janice of Reddell; four sisters Barbara Reber and husband, Mickey of Hayes, Patricia Monceaux of Lacassine, Sandra Deshotel and husband, Red of Hayes, and Kathy Benoit and husband, Edgar of Lacassine; and three brothers Curley Myers and wife, DeAnna of Holmwood, James Myers and wife, Sheryl of Lake Charles, and Kenneth Myers and wife Dianne of Roseburg, Oregon. She is also survived by three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Joann is preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Wilma Myers and one sister, Margaret Robertson.
The family requests that visitation be observed today, Thursday, February 15, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 12:00 p.m. by Deacon Ben Soileau.
