Funeral services for Jerrad William Clark was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church, Pine Prairie, with Reverends Ervin Goodman, David Messer and Jacob Vollm officiating. Interment followed in Clark Cemetery, Pine Prairie under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pine Prairie.
Mr. Clark, 34, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Ville Platte.
Jerrad always had a smile on his face and he never met a stranger. He loved hunting, fishing and joking around. He was a long-time operator for road construction and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ethel Clark; his maternal grandparents, Harvey and Ethel Goodman; and one nephew, Cody Blaise Andrepont.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his wife, Erica Clark, of Mamou; one son, William Blake Clark, of Mamou; his parents, Douglas and Jennifer Clark, of Upper Pine Prairie; one brother, Darrell Shane Clark, of Upper Pine Prairie; and two sisters, Jeneane Miller and her husband, Joey, of Pine Prairie and Mandy Welch and her husband, Roger, of Cypress Creek Community.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 1, 2018 and resumed on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
