VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for James Vernon “Vern” Lafleur were held on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte. It was followed by a burial at Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery. Vern Lafleur, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully at Riverside Hospital in Alexandria, on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
