Hazel Jackson, 93, of Ville Platte passed away on October 28, 2018, at her residence.
The wake will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Ville Platte and will be followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Eradley Ben Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Jackson is survived by her daughters, Julia Boutee of Lake Charles, Geneva Weston, Janice Frank, Rosanna Serie, Dora Jackson, and Hilda Abraham all of Ville Platte; her sons, Alfred Jackson Jr. of Grand Prairie and Walter Ray Jackson of Lafayette; her sister, Justina King of Lake Charles; and her brother, Wilson Adams of Opelousas.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
