VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services were held at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Chataignier on Friday, May 25, 2018, for Floyd Mattern Fuselier, 78, who passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 in Crowley.
Father Darren Eldridge was celebrant of the mass and conducted the funeral services.
Burial took place in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier.
Floyd Mattern Fuselier was born in Point Blue, on November 14, 1939 to John Fuselier and Annie Lee Rozas Fuselier.
He is survived by his sister, Charlene Dronet and husband, Curney J. Dronet, Jr of Erath; brother, John A. Fuselier of Daphne, AL; nieces, Angie Fuselier, Bridget McDaniel Fontenot and husband, John, Pam Davis and husband, Rich, Monique Vincent and husband, Shane, Danielle Broussard and husband, Jeremy, Kay O’Bryan and husband, Steven; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Fuselier and Annie Lee Rozas Fuselier; brother, Burke Fuselier; sister, Beryl McDaniel; and nephew, Dwight Fuselier.
The family requested that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
